At Northern Oak Kennel our focus is on the improvement of the breed, specifically temperament, health, and composition. Located on 37 acres in Armada, Michigan, our journey began back in the early '90s with our first malamute (Alpha). This is where we fell in love with the breed. In 2018 after years of looking and researching we decided to start bettering the breed.  Since then, we have helped families find their “furever” friend from our family. We make sure our families have the support and knowledge they need to understand the breed and its specific needs. Our main focus is the wellness of the little ones from the moment they are born in our home until the moment they join their new family. From the moment they are born in our home they are family, and remain family after they go to their new loving home.
